Neuromodulation Lab Inc. was started by Dr Horatius Hwang, D.O in 2013. It is the first Translational Research clinic in this region at that time that offered patients Non Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) in combination with cognitive and motor tasks. The clinic was renamed to Neuromodulation Lab Incorporation (NMLab) in 2018.
Translational Research takes scientific studies done in the laboratory and transforms them into new treatments and approaches to clinical care that improves the health of the population. NMLab uses the latest Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) research such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation, Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation, etc and translate these new approaches to clinical practice for both our adult and pediatric patients. Thus, we offer today’s most up to date individualized treatment plans for our patients.
