The Difference
Since each patient who comes to NMLab is a unique individual, each patient’s program is therefore custom tailored to meet his or her needs. There is never a “one size fits all” approach at NMLab. In addition, we are currently the only rehab center in the world that combines Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) with cutting edge technology motor therapies and/or cognitive task to achieve maximum recovery in mobility, cognitive and psychological functionality, and independence. These are reasons why we are different from other rehabilitation facilities.
The Choices
Rehabilitation is a complex process with many factors that contribute to its success. These factors go beyond how close a facility is to home or making a quick decision simply based on first impressions. The Learning
NMLab being both a rehab and research facility, patients here will also have an opportunity to participate and learn in studies using NIBS with other institutions in areas such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, ADHD, just to name a few.
